Something to think about and another reason I always tell people, BT is NOT uBuntu and uBuntu is NOT BT. BT keeps its own repositories to maintain customizations for the software installed in BT to be compatible with its custom kernel and internal settings. The Repositories aren't the same for everyday programs either and don't point to the same places as other distros might to do installs. Its not standard Debian or uBuntu, and thus a lot of software doesn't work the same way out of the box because of dependencies and repositories. You have to remember, BT uses a custom kernel and configuration. See here: Īlso, you need to understand that the BT4 kernel might not be able to do it if certain requirements aren't met by the needs of the software you are trying to install. I had done this under uBuntu a while back following a tutorial on the uBuntu forums, but I'm not sure it will apply in this case because of the fact that its BT and not uBuntu at its core. r/linux4noobs Recently installed Mint and I have no idea how to connect to Wi-Fi r/linux4noobs Is there a software on. r/linux4noobs Just clicked on a malicious URL - now what. r/linux4noobs Coreboot, what is it, and does it matter for the average user. r/linux4noobs Why do my flatpak apps look like this.
